How Do I Change the Text Alignment in Squarespace?

Last updated on December 28, 2022 @ 8:33 pm

There are many ways to change the text alignment in Squarespace. You can use the built-in options in the platform, or you can use HTML code.

If you want to use the built-in options, you can go to the Style Editor and select the text element that you want to change. Then, under the Text tab, you can select the alignment option that you want to use.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when changing the text alignment in Squarespace, you could end up with your text looking jumbled and unprofessional. Be sure to take the time to preview your changes before making them live on your site.

If you want to use HTML code, you can add the following code to your site:

<p style="text-align:center;">This text will be centered.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">This text will be aligned to the left.</p>

<p style="text-align:right;">This text will be aligned to the right.</p>

You can also use the <b> and <u> tags to style your text. The <b> tag will make your text bold, and the <u> tag will make your text underlined.
