How do I connect my domain to DigitalOcean droplet?

If you want to use your domain name with DigitalOcean droplets, you first need to create a droplet with that domain name. To do this, first enter your domain name into the DigitalOcean Droplet Details page.

Once you have entered your domain name, click the Create Droplet button.

On the next page, you will be asked to provide some information about your droplet. In the Hostname field, enter the name of your droplet. In the Email field, enter your email address. In the Password field, enter your password.

In the Security Group field, select the security group your droplet will be placed in. In the Region field, select the region in which your droplet will be located.

Now, click the Create Droplet button to create your droplet.

After your droplet has been created, you will be taken to the Droplets page. On the Droplets page, click the droplet you created to get to its details.

In the Hostname field, enter your droplet’s hostname. In the Email field, enter your droplet’s email address. In the Password field, enter your droplet’s password.

In the Security Group field, enter the name of the security group your droplet will be placed in. In the Region field, enter the region in which your droplet will be located.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with DNS and domain configuration, we recommend contacting your domain registrar or DNS provider for support. Incorrectly configuring DNS records can result in downtime for your website or email.

Click the Launch button to start your droplet.

Now that your droplet is up and running, you will need to connect your domain name to your droplet.

Once you have entered your domain name, click the Domains button.

On the next page, you will be asked to provide some information about your domain. In the Name field, enter the domain name of your domain. In the Email field, enter the email address of the domain’s owner. In the Password field, enter the password of the domain’s owner.

In the SSL/TLS field, select the type of security you want to use for your domain. In the Hostname field, enter the hostname of the domain.

Now, click the Add Domain button to add your domain to your droplet.

After your domain has been added, you will be taken to the Droplets page.

In the Hostname field, enter the hostname of your droplet. In the Email field, enter the email address of your droplet. In the Password field, enter the password of your droplet.

Now that your droplet is up and running, you can connect your domain to it using the provided information.
