Illustrator is a great tool for creating shapes and illustrations. There are a few steps you can take to convert text to a shape in Illustrator.

First, select the text you want to convert.

PRO TIP: Be careful when converting text to a shape in Illustrator, as the text will no longer be editable and you may not be able to revert back to the original text.

Next, click on the Properties tab and select the “Create Outlines” button from the “Quick Actions” section.

NOTE: This is the step that will convert your text into shape.

Once your text is converted into a shape, you can resize each of the letters. To do this, use the Selection tool from the left toolbar and double-click on the letter that you want to resize.

From there, click and drag the handles around the letter to resize it.

And there you have it! When you’re finished, you can save the shape as a file, or you can use it in your project.

Concluding Thoughts:

Illustrator is a great tool for creating shapes and illustrations. Using the Outline tool and the Selection tool, you can easily convert text to a shape.
