In this tutorial, we will learn how to create shapes in Illustrator. We will start by creating a simple circle.

After that, we will create a more complex shape, a rectangle. Finally, we will create a custom shape using the Shape Builder tool.

To begin, open Illustrator and create a new document. To create a circle, select the Circle tool from the Tools panel and draw a circle on the artboard.

To create a rectangle, select the Rectangle tool and draw a rectangle on the artboard. Finally, to create a custom shape, select the Shape Builder tool from the Options Bar and select the Rectangle tool.

PRO TIP: When creating shapes in Illustrator, be aware that the program may default to creating a raster image, rather than a vector image. To avoid this, select the “Create new fill or stroke” option from the “Edit” menu, and make sure that the “Fill” option is set to “Vector.”

Next, use the Gradient tool to create a gradient on the circle, rectangle, and custom shape. To do this, select the Gradient tool from the Tools panel and click and drag to create the gradient.

To create the gradient, select the Gradient tool from the Tools panel and click and drag to create the gradient. Next, use the Transparency panel to change the transparency of the gradient.

To do this, select the Transparency panel from the Options Bar and change the Transparency setting to 100%.

Next, use the Stroke tool to create a stroke on the circle, rectangle, and custom shape. To do this, select the Stroke tool from the Tools panel and click and drag to create the stroke.

To create the stroke, select the Stroke tool from the Tools panel and click and drag to create the stroke. Next, use the Transparency panel to change the transparency of the stroke.

Finally, use the Stroke color and Width settings to change the stroke color and width. To do this, select the Stroke color and Width settings from the Options Bar and change the Stroke color and Width settings to the colors that you want to use.

To finish, save the document and close it.
