Copy code in Figma

The easiest way to copy code in Figma is to use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C (Windows) or Command + C (Mac). Once you have the code copied, you can paste it into the relevant area in your Figma document.

PRO TIP: If you are trying to copy a code in Figma, be aware that there is no built-in code editor. You will need to use an external code editor to do this. Also, be sure to save your work often as there is no autosave feature in Figma.

If you want to copy a block of code, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + C (Windows) or Command + Shift + C (Mac). This will copy the code block, and then you can paste it into the Figma document.

If you want to copy a selection of code, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V (Windows) or Command + Shift + V (Mac).
