How Do I Create a CSH File in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 11:18 am

Creating a CSH file in Photoshop is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. CSH files are vector shape files that can be used in Photoshop to create custom shapes.

To create a CSH file in Photoshop, you will need to first create a new document. Once you have created a new document, you will need to create a vector shape. To do this, you will need to use the pen tool.

PRO TIP: When creating a CSH file in Photoshop, it is important to remember to save the file in the correct format. CSH files are only compatible with Photoshop CS5 and earlier. If you try to open a CSH file in Photoshop CS6 or later, you will receive an error message.

Once you have created your vector shape, you will need to select the “Edit” menu and then choose the “Define Custom Shape” option. This will bring up the “Define Custom Shape” dialog box. In this dialog box, you will need to give your custom shape a name and then click on the “OK” button.

Your custom shape will now be saved as a CSH file and can be used in Photoshop by selecting the “Custom Shape” tool and then choosing your custom shape from the list of shapes.
