Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 7:13 pm

Creating a mailing list in cPanel is easy. First, login to your cPanel account and navigate to the Mailing Lists section. Click the Add New List button and fill out the form.

You will need to provide a name for your list, an email address for the list administrator, and a description of your list. Click the Create List button to create your list.

Once your list has been created, you will need to set up your mailing list policies. Your list administrator will need to decide how your list will operate, including how new members will be added, how members will be notified about changes to the list, and how members can unsubscribe from the list.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to create a mailing list in Hostgator cPanel, we strongly recommend that you first consult with your web hosting provider to confirm that this is allowed under their terms of service. Additionally, we advise against using a shared hosting account for any email marketing activities, as this can lead to your account being suspended or terminated.

Your list administrator will also need to decide how messages sent from the list will be handled. You can choose to have all messages sent from the list be sent using email, or you can choose to have messages sent from the list be sent as posts to a blog or forum.

Finally, you will need to add members to your list. Members can be added by emailing the list administrator, or by posting a message to the list.

Once a member has been added, they will be able to view all messages sent from the list, and they will be able to post messages to the list.

As a member of a mailing list, you will be able to receive messages sent from the list, and you will be able to post messages to the list. By participating in a mailing list, you will be able to stay up-to-date on the latest news and announcements from the list administrator.
