Creating a one-page website in Joomla is relatively easy. First, create a new Joomla site.
Under Site Options, you will need to select the One Page Site template. This template will create a basic one-page website.
Next, you will need to configure the template. Select the Page Layout tab and enter the following information:
Name: One Page Website
Description: A one-page website template for Joomla!
Page Title: My One Page Website
Page Content: This is the content of your one-page website.
Now, you will need to configure the front-end of your website. Select the Home tab and enter the following information:
Pages: 1
Now, you will need to create a new page. Under Pages, select the Add New Page button and enter the following information:
Name: Home
Now, you will need to add a content module. Select the Content tab and click on the Add New Content Module button. Enter the following information:
Now, you will need to add a template. Under Templates, select the Add New Template button and enter the following information:
Now, you will need to add a stylesheet. Select the Stylesheet tab and click on the Add New Stylesheet button. Enter the following information:
Now, you will need to add a logo. Select the Logo tab and click on the Add New Logo button. Enter the following information:
Name: My Logo
Description: The logo for my one-page website template for Joomla!
Now, you will need to add a favicon. Select the Favicon tab and click on the Add New Favicon button. Enter the following information:
Name: My Favicon
Description: The favicon for my one-page website template for Joomla!
Now, you will need to add a Google Analytics account. Select the Google Analytics tab and click on the Add New Account button. Enter the following information:
Name: My Google Analytics Account
Description: The Google Analytics account for my one-page website template for Joomla!
Now, you will need to add a Twitter account. Select the Twitter tab and click on the Add New Account button. Enter the following information:
Name: My Twitter Account
Description: The Twitter account for my one-page website template for Joomla!
Now, you will need to add a Facebook account. Select the Facebook tab and click on the Add New Account button. Enter the following information:
Name: My Facebook Account
Description: The Facebook account for my one-page website template for Joomla!
Now, you will need to add a plugin. Select the Plugins tab and click on the Add New Plugin button. Enter the following information:
Now, you will need to add a content category. Select the Categories tab and click on the Add New Category button. Enter the following information:
Now, you will need to add a content type. Select the Types tab and click on the Add New Type button. Enter the following information:
Now, you will need to add a page. Select the Pages tab and click on the Add New Page button. Enter the following information:

Now, you will need to add a content item. Select the Content Items tab and click on the Add New Content Item button. Enter the following information:

Now, you will need to add a link. Select the Links tab.
