How Do I Create a Print Effect in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 9:30 pm

In order to create a print effect in Photoshop, there are a few steps that need to be followed. First, open the image that you would like to use and select the layer that you want to apply the print effect to.

PRO TIP: This tutorial will show you how to create a print effect in Photoshop. This effect is achieved by first creating a clipping mask, then adding a layer style. The clipping mask will allow you to create the print effect on any image. The layer style will add a Bevel and Emboss effect to your image.

Next, go to Filter > Pixelate > Mosaic and select a cell size that you are happy with. Once you have applied the filter, go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast and increase the contrast of the image. Finally, go to Image > Adjustments > Levels and increase the black level until you are happy with the result.

Now that you know how to create a print effect in Photoshop, why not try it out on your own images? Experiment with different cell sizes and levels until you find a look that you like. Remember, there are no rules when it comes to creating effects in Photoshop – so have fun and see what you can come up with!
