How Do You Make a Folded Paper Effect in Photoshop?

There are a few different ways that you can create a folded paper effect in Photoshop. One way is to use the ‘ Crease ’ tool.

To do this, first make sure that your ‘ Rulers ’ are visible ( View > Rulers ). Then, click on the ‘ Crease ’ tool in the toolbox, or press ‘ C ’ on your keyboard.

Now, click and drag on your image to create a fold. The further you drag, the deeper the fold will be. You can also click and drag from the top or bottom of the image to create a horizontal fold.

Another way to create a folded paper effect is to use the ‘ Wrinkle ’ tool. This tool works in a similar way to the ‘ Crease ’ tool, but it creates a more realistic fold.

To use the ‘ Wrinkle ’ tool, select it from the toolbox, or press ‘ W ’ on your keyboard. Then, click and drag on your image to create a fold.

You can also use the ‘ Fold’ filter to create a folded paper effect. This filter is found in the Filter > Distort menu.

PRO TIP: This tutorial will show you how to make a folded paper effect in Photoshop. This is a very easy effect to create and only requires a few minutes of your time. However, please be aware that this effect can be very distracting and can make your images look cluttered. If you are not careful, your images may end up looking like a child’s drawings.

To use the filter, select your image and go to Filter > Distort > Fold . A dialog box will appear with some options for you to choose from.

The first option is the number of folds. This determines how many times your image will be folded.

The second option is the direction of the folds. You can choose between horizontal and vertical folds.

The third option is the size of the folds. This determines how big or small the folds will be.

The fourth option is the intensity of the folds. This determines how deep or shallow the folds will be.

Once you’ve chosen your options, click OK to apply the filter.

Folding paper is a great way to add interest and dimension to your images in Photoshop. By using either the ‘Crease’ or ‘Wrinkle’ tools, you can easily create realistic looking folds. Alternatively, you can use Filter > Distort > Fold to create a variety of different fold effects.
