How Do I Create a Purchase Order on Shopify?

When you run a business, there are many moving parts that you have to keep track of. Perhaps one of the most important is your inventory.

After all, if you don’t have the products that your customers want, they’re not going to be very happy. That’s where purchase orders come in.

A purchase order is basically a list of the products that you want to buy from a supplier. This list includes important information like the product name, SKU, price, and quantity.

Creating a purchase order might seem like a daunting task, but luckily Shopify makes it easy. In this article, we’ll show you how to create a purchase order in Shopify step-by-step.

First, you’ll need to log into your Shopify account and go to the “Orders” page. From here, click on the “Create Order” button:

Next, you’ll need to select the supplier that you want to create a purchase order for. You can do this by clicking on the “Supplier” drop-down menu:

Once you’ve selected a supplier, it’s time to start adding products to your purchase order. You can do this by clicking on the “Add product” button:

A popup will appear where you can search for the product that you want to add to your purchase order. Once you’ve found the product, simply click on the “Add” button:
