If you want to change the URL of a page on your Namecheap domain, you can use a redirect. A redirect is a change in the URL of a webpage that tells browsers to go to a different page. To create a redirect in Namecheap, first go to the Edit Profile page for your domain. On this page, you’ll see a link to the Redirects section. Click on this link to open the Redirects page. On this page, you’ll see a list of all the pages on your domain. Click on the link for the page you want to redirect. This will open the page for that page, with the new URL set as the default. To create a new redirect, click on the Add a Redirect link. This will open the Add a Redirect page.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to create a redirect in namecheap, please be aware that there are some potential risks involved. For example, if you do not configure the redirect correctly, you could end up redirecting traffic to a malicious site. Additionally, if you are not careful with the settings, you could also end up causing problems with your own website.

On this page, you’ll need to provide the new URL for the page you’re redirecting. You can also provide a title for the redirect, and a comment if you want. Click on the Save button to create the redirect. Finally, click on the Save Changes button to save the changes to your domain. If you want to test the redirect, you can click on the Preview link next to the Redirects title. This will open the Preview page for the redirect, with the new URL set as the default. If everything looks correct, you can click on the Preview button to test the redirect. If everything looks correct, you can click on the OK button to save the changes to your domain. Finally, you can click on the Close button to close the Redirects page. If you make any changes to the redirects, you’ll need to click on the Update Redirects link to update the information on the Redirects page.
