How Do I Create a Referral Program on Wix?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 7:43 am

The best way to get more customers is to have a referral program. This is where you give existing customers a discount or some other incentive for referring new customers to your business. You can create a referral program on Wix by following these steps:

1. Go to the Wix website and sign up for an account. 2. Once you’re logged in, go to the ‘My Sites’ tab and click on the ‘Add New Site’ button. 3. Select the ‘Referral Program’ template from the list of options.

4. Enter your business information and choose a custom URL for your referral program page. 5. On the next page, you can customize your referral program settings. Choose how much discount or incentive you want to offer, and set other parameters like the expiration date or minimum purchase amount. 6. Once you’re happy with your settings, click on the ‘Publish’ button to make your referral program live.

You can start promoting your referral program by sharing the URL with your customers or adding a link to it on your website or social media pages. When someone clicks on the link and signs up for your program, they’ll be given a unique referral code that they can share with their friends. When someone uses that code to make a purchase, they’ll get the discount and you’ll get a new customer!

PRO TIP: If you are considering creating a referral program on Wix, be aware that there are some possible risks involved. For example, if you do not carefully manage your program, you could end up giving away too much in commissions or rewards, or you may not have enough people participating to make the program successful. Additionally, be sure to read the terms and conditions of Wix’s Referral Program carefully before getting started, as there may be some restrictions that you need to be aware of.
