In this tutorial we will show you how to create a shadow in Photoshop. To start, open the file that you want to shadow in Photoshop. Next, select the object you want to shadow and go to the layer styles menu.

From here, select the Shadow option. This will open the Shadow dialog box. In this dialog box, you will need to provide the following information:.

1. The location of the shadow.

This can be either a point or a path.

2. The size of the shadow.

3. The color of the shadow.

4. The opacity of the shadow.

Once you have provided all of the necessary information, click OK to close the Shadow dialog box. Next, you will need to create the shadow itself. To do this, select the shadow source object and then use the Pencil tool to create the shadow.

PRO TIP: When creating shadows in Photoshop, it is important to create a new layer and use a black brush to paint in the shadow. Make sure the layer is set to ‘Multiply’ so that the shadow will appear correctly.

To create the depth of the shadow, you can use the Blur tool. To finish, you will need to save your image and then close Photoshop.
