DigitalOcean is a cloud hosting company that allows users to create their own subdomains. To create a subdomain, first log in to your DigitalOcean account and navigate to the Domains section. Click on the Add a domain button and enter the domain name you would like to create a subdomain for. You will then be asked to select a domain name registrar. We recommend using GoDaddy because they offer a free domain name when you create a new account. Once you have selected a registrar, click on the Next button.

You will then be asked to provide the basic information for your domain. In the next step, you will be asked to choose a hosting plan. We recommend selecting an Economy plan because it offers ample storage space and bandwidth. You will then be asked to provide the details for your domain. In the final step, you will be asked to verify your information. Click on the Finish button to create your subdomain.

Now that you have created your subdomain, you will need to configure your web server to access it. To do this, log in to your DigitalOcean account and navigate to the Droplets section. Click on the droplet you want to configure and then click on the Properties button. In the General tab, you will need to add the IP address of your subdomain to the Server field.

You will also need to add the domain name to the Hostname field. Finally, you will need to add the port number for your web server. We recommend using 80 for the HTTP port and 443 for the HTTPS port. Click on the Save button to save your changes.

PRO TIP: Warning: Creating a subdomain in DigitalOcean requires advanced knowledge of DNS settings and DNS management. If you are not comfortable working with these settings, we recommend that you hire a qualified professional to assist you.

Now that your subdomain is configured, you can start hosting your website. Click on the droplet you want to use and then click on the Clone button. In the Clone Droplet dialog box, you will need to enter the clone URL for your subdomain. For example, if your subdomain is example.com, you would enter https://example.com/ in the Clone URL field. You will then be asked to select a storage plan and a region.

We recommend selecting a Standard storage plan and using the West US region. Finally, you will be asked to enter the details for your droplet. In the next step, you will be asked to select a domain name for your website. We recommend entering the domain name you registered for your subdomain in the Domain Name field. You will then be asked to enter the details for your website. In the next step, you will be asked to select a web server for your website. We recommend selecting a web server with PHP and Apache installed. Click on the Clone button to clone your droplet.

You now have a fully functioning website that is hosted on DigitalOcean! Congratulations! To conclude, to create a subdomain in DigitalOcean, first log in to your account and navigate to the Domains section. You will then be asked to provide the basic information for your domain.

In the next step, you will be asked to choose a hosting plan.

For example, if your subdomain is example. You will then be asked to select.
