If you’re ready to say goodbye to your Shopify account, you can delete it from your Shopify admin. Deleting your account will permanently remove all of your data from our servers.

Before you delete your account, we recommend that you export your data. This will give you a copy of your data that you can keep outside of Shopify in case you ever want to use it again. To export your data:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Export. 2. Select which type of data you want to export, then click Export.

3. When the export is complete, click Download. This will download a .csv file to your computer.

Once you have exported your data, you’re ready to delete your account:

PRO TIP: If you are considering deleting your Shopify account after your trial period, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First, deleting your account will remove all of your data from Shopify, including your store, products, orders, and customers. Secondly, if you have any outstanding charges on your account (such as for a paid Shopify plan), these will need to be paid before you can delete your account. Finally, once you delete your account, it cannot be recovered, so be sure you really want to do this before taking any further action.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Account. In the Store status section, click Delete store. Enter DELETE into the confirmation field, then click Delete my store permanently. 4. Click OK to confirm.

Deleting your Shopify account is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure that you really want to say goodbye before you take this action!
