How Do I Display Free Shipping on Shopify?

There are two ways that you can display free shipping on your Shopify store:

1. Use Shopify’s built-in free shipping rate

Shopify has a built-in free shipping rate that you can use to offer free shipping to your customers. To set this up, go to Shipping in your Shopify admin, and then click Add a new shipping method. From the Shipping Method drop-down menu, select Free shipping.
Then, enter the Free Shipping Title, Free Shipping Description, and Free Shipping Amount. Finally, click Save. Now, when your customers go to checkout, they’ll see the option for free shipping.

2. Use Shopify’s built-in carrier calculated rates

If you’re using Shopify’s built-in carrier calculated rates, you can offer free shipping to your customers by creating a free shipping rate. To do this, go to Shipping in your Shopify admin, and then click Create a new carrier calculated rate. From the Carrier dropdown menu, select the carrier that you want to use for this rate.

Then, enter the details of the rate, including the name, description, price, and minimum order amount (if applicable). Finally, click Save rate.

Note: If you’re using Shopify Payments, then you can’t offer free shipping through Shopify Shipping.

PRO TIP: If you are using Shopify to sell products online, you may want to offer free shipping to your customers. There are a few ways to do this, but you need to be careful about how you set it up.

First, you need to make sure that your shipping rates are set up correctly. If you’re not sure how to do this, you can contact Shopify support or look for a tutorial online. Once your shipping rates are set up, you need to enable free shipping in your Shopify settings. To do this, go to Settings > Shipping and delivery and scroll down to the Free shipping section.

Next, you need to decide how you want to offer free shipping. You can either offer it for all orders, or for orders over a certain amount. If you choose to offer free shipping for all orders, be aware that this could impact your margins if you’re not careful.

Finally, once you’ve decided how you want to offer free shipping, make sure you test it out before making it live on your site. This way, you can be sure that everything is working correctly and that your customers will be able to take advantage of the free shipping offer.
