If you are looking for a tutorial on how to use the pen tool in Photoshop, please find a more up-to-date resource.

1. First, open up Photoshop and create a new document. Then, select the Pen Tool from the toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen.

2. Next, click on the place where you want to start drawing your shape. This will create what’s called a “anchor point.”

3. Then, simply click and drag your mouse in the direction you want to go.

As you do this, you’ll see that a line starts to form. This line is called a “path.”

4. Keep clicking and dragging until you’ve created the shape you want. Then, release the mouse button.

5. To finish off your shape, click on the first anchor point that you created. This will “close” off your shape and complete the path.

And that’s all there is to it! Drawing shapes with the Pen Tool in Photoshop is really quite simple once you get the hang of it.
