How Do I Edit the WooCommerce Cart Shortcode?

WooCommerce provides a cart shortcode that can be used to insert the cart contents anywhere on your site. This shortcode must be used within the WordPress content editor, as it will not work if added to a theme template file.

To use the cart shortcode, simply add the following code to the post or page where you want the cart to appear:

This shortcode can be customized with the following parameters:

  • per_page: The number of products to show per page. Default is 10.
  • show_variations: Set to false to hide product variations.

    Default is true

  • orderby: Can be set to date, price, title, or popularity. Default is date
  • order: Can be set to asc, desc. Default is asc
  • columns: The number of columns for products. Default is 4.
