There is one simple way that you can export your Figma design into a Word document. That is to use the built-in plugin feature in Figma. To do this, simply go to the Resources window in the top menu.

From there, go to the Plugins tab and search for the “CopyDoc Text Kit” plugin and run it.

In the running CopyDoct Text Kit plugin, select the “Export Frames” button.

In the Export Frames window that will appear, select “Microsoft Word (.docx)” as the file format, then click on the “Export DOCX” button.

Once your Microsoft Word Document is ready, click on the “Download Word Doc” button.

Make sure to save your Microsoft Word Document as a DOCX file type and type in your file name. Once done click on the “Save” button.

And that’s it! You have successfully exported your Figma design as a Microsoft Word Document.

PRO TIP: When exporting a Figma file to Word, please be aware that any text formatting or font changes that you make in Figma may not be carried over to the Word document. Also, any layers that you have hidden in Figma will also be hidden in the exported Word document.

There are many plugins in Figma that you can explore. No matter which method you choose, exporting your Figma design into a Word document is a quick and easy process that anyone can do!
