How Do I Export a Grid in Figma?

Last updated on December 1, 2022 @ 1:31 pm

There are a few different ways that you can export a grid in Figma. One way is to use the Export As function.

To do this, click on File > Export As. Then, select the format that you want to export the file as (PNG, JPG, PDF, etc. ), and click on the Export button.

Another way to export a grid is to use the Save As function. To do this, click on File > Save As.

In the Save As dialog box, select the format that you want to save the file as (PNG, JPG, PDF, etc. ), and click on the Save button.

You can also use the Copy function to copy an image of the grid. To do this, click on Edit > Copy.

Then, open up your preferred image editing software (Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, etc.), and paste the image into the software.

Once you have exported or copied the grid, you can then style the text in HTML using < p >,< b > and < u > tags where applicable.

PRO TIP: When exporting a grid in Figma, be sure to check the “Use artboards” setting in the export menu. Otherwise, your grid will be exported as a single image.
