How Do I Export Figma Tokens?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:57 pm

Figma is a great tool for creating vector graphics and illustrations. One of its many features is the ability to create and export tokens, which are small pieces of vector art that can be reused in other designs.

To export a token from Figma, first select the object you want to export. Then, click the “Export” button in the toolbar at the top of the window.

In the Export dialog box that appears, select “Tokens” from the Format drop-down menu. You can also choose to export your token as an SVG file by selecting “SVG” from the Format drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to export Figma tokens, please be aware that there are a few things to consider before doing so. First, make sure that you have the latest version of Figma installed. Next, open the file that you want to export tokens from and select the “Tokens” tab. Finally, click on the “Export” button and select the format that you want to export your tokens in.

Click the “Export” button to save your token. Figma will automatically save it as a .png file in the directory you specified. You can now use this token in other designs or illustrations!
