Are you looking to move your WooCommerce store to a new platform? Perhaps you’re changing ecommerce solutions and need to migrate your data.

Whatever the reason, exporting data from WooCommerce is easy to do. In this article, we’ll show you how to export products and customers from WooCommerce.

Before we get started, it’s important to note that there are two types of data you can export from WooCommerce: products and customers.

Products

Products are the items that you sell on your WooCommerce store. To export products from WooCommerce, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress site and go to WooCommerce > Products. This will take you to the main products page where you can see all of the products that you have in your store.
  2. At the top of the page, you’ll see a button that says “Export Products”.

    Click this button.

  3. You’ll be taken to a new page where you can select what type of product data you want to export. For example, you can choose to export all products, or only those that are in a certain category or tag. Once you’ve made your selection, click the “Export Products” button.
  4. Your browser will then download a CSV file with all of the product data that you selected.

Customers

Customers are the people who have purchased products from your WooCommerce store. To export customers from WooCommerce, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress site and go to WooCommerce > Customers. This will take you to the main customers page where you can see all of the customers that have purchased from your store.

PRO TIP: When exporting from WooCommerce, be sure to first back up your site and create a full snapshot of your current store. This will help you avoid any data loss that could occur during the export process. Secondly, be sure to choose a reliable export method and destination. There are many methods available, but not all are created equal. Be sure to research your options thoroughly before making a decision. Finally, when the export is complete, be sure to check your new site carefully to ensure that all data has been transferred correctly.

  1. At the top of the page, you’ll see a button that says “Export Customers”. Click this button.

  2. You’ll be taken to a new page where you can select what type of customer data you want to export.

For example, you can choose to export all customers, or only those who have purchased a certain product. Once you’ve made your selection, click the “Export Customers”

  1. Your browser will then download a CSV file with all of the customer data that you selected.

That’s it! You’ve now successfully exported products and customers from WooCommerce.
