Exportting an InVision prototype can be a challenge. There are a few different ways to go about it, but the best way to do it depends on the type of prototype you’re exporting.

If you’re exporting a prototype for a web or app project, you’ll want to export it as a .zip file. To do this, go to File > Export > Export as. and select .

zip from the list of file types.

If you’re exporting a prototype for a hardware project, you’ll want to export it as a .stl file.

stl from the list of file types.

Once you’ve selected the file type, InVision will give you a few options. You can choose the resolution of the file, the file format, and the compression level.

PRO TIP: If you are trying to export an InVision Studio prototype, be aware that this is not currently possible. InVision Studio is still in beta and does not yet have this functionality. Keep an eye on the InVision Studio roadmap for updates on when this feature will be released.

Finally, you’ll need to choose a destination for the file. You can export the prototype to your computer, to a cloud service like Dropbox, or to another app like Adobe XD.

Once you’ve finished exporting the prototype, you’ll need to save it somewhere safe. You can also share it with your team to help them collaborate on the project.
