Figma is a great tool for designers and front-end developers. It allows you to create vector graphics and share them with others.

However, one of the drawbacks of Figma is that it doesn’t have a built-in font management system. This can be frustrating for those who want to use custom fonts in their designs.

There are a few workarounds that you can use to add custom fonts to Figma. One approach is to use the Google Fonts website.

To do this, go to the Google Fonts website and select the fonts you want to use in your design. Then, click the “Add To Figma” button. This will add the selected fonts to your Figma project.

PRO TIP: If you are experiencing issues with the font in Figma, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the issue. First, try restarting Figma. If that doesn’t work, try resetting your computer’s font cache. Finally, if all else fails, you can delete the Figma application and reinstall it.

Another approach is to use the Font Squirrel website. Font Squirrel has a wide selection of free fonts that you can download and use in your Figma projects. To find the fonts you want, simply browse through the categories or use the search bar. Once you’ve found the perfect font, click the “Download” button and install the font on your computer.

Then, open your Figma project and select the “Add Font” option from the File menu. Choose the installed font from the list and click “OK”. The font will now be available for use in your Figma project.

If you want more control over your fonts, you can also use the “Advanced” option in the “Add Font” dialog box. This will allow you to specify which styles of the font you want to import, as well as whether or not to import character sets such as Latin Extended and Cyrillic.

No matter which method you choose, adding custom fonts to Figma is a simple process that will give your designs a unique look. With a little bit of effort, you can make sure that your Figma projects always have the perfect font for any situation.
