How Do You Change the Font in Figma?

Last updated on November 27, 2022 @ 8:45 pm

In Figma, you can change the font for any text object by selecting the object, and then clicking the “Text” tab in the Inspector on the right. From there, you can select any font from the drop-down menu.

If you want to style text in HTML using < p >,< b > and < u > tags, you first need to create a text object in Figma. To do this, click the “plus” icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, and then select “Text” from the drop-down menu.

Once you have a text object, you can style it by selecting the object and then clicking the “Text” tab in the Inspector on the right. In the “Text” tab, you will see options for changing the font, size, color, and alignment of your text. You can also add a link to your text by clicking the “Link” button.

To style text using < p >,< b > and < u > tags, simply add these tags around your text in the HTML code. For example:

This is a paragraph of text.

This text will be bold.

This text will be underlined.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, changing the font in Figma can result in lost work. Be sure to save your work before changing the font, and be sure to use the Undo command (Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z) if you don’t like the results.
