There are a few ways that you can add glitter text to your Canva design. You can either use the text tool to add your own sparkly text, or you can search for and insert one of the many glittery fonts that are available online.
To add your own glitter text using the text tool:
1. Select the “Text” tool from the left-hand sidebar. 2. Click anywhere on your design canvas to add a text box. 3. Enter your desired text into the text box. 4. Select the “Format” tab from the top menu bar. 5. Under the “Text” heading, select the “Fill” drop-down menu and choose a color for your glitter text. 6. Next to the “Fill” drop-down menu, there is a checkbox labeled “Stroke”.
Check this box to add a stroke (outline) around your glitter text. 7. Select a color for your stroke from the “Stroke” color swatch that appears next to the checkbox. 8. Use the “Size” slider to adjust the width of your stroke, if desired. 9. To add a gradient fill to your glitter text, select the “Gradient” option from the “Fill” drop-down menu (instead of a solid color). 10. Click on one of the colors in the gradient fill swatch to change it, or use the “Add Color” button to add additional colors to your gradient fill. 11. Use the “Direction” slider to adjust the direction of your gradient fill, if desired. 12. Once you’re happy with how your glitter text looks, click on the “Apply” button to save your changes.
To insert glittery fonts from Canva’s library:
1. Select the “Text” tool from the left-hand sidebar as before. Click anywhere on your design canvas to add a text box and enter your desired text into it as before..
However in this case leave some space as you will be adding more than one line of Text3. Now go ahead an experiment with all those different Fonts! Be creative! After all this is YOUR design! When done hit “Apply” in top right corner. And you are done with adding Glitter Text in Canva!
