If you have a photo that is marred by dust and scratches, you can use Photoshop to get rid of them. First, open the image in Photoshop.

Then, go to the Filter menu and choose Dust & Scratches. A dialog box will appear.

In the Radius field, enter a number between 1 and 5 pixels. This is the size of the area that Photoshop will search for scratches.

The Threshold field controls how different the pixels must be before Photoshop considers them to be part of a scratch. A low number means that only big scratches will be removed, while a high number will remove both big and small scratches.

Click OK, and Photoshop will apply the filter and remove the dust and scratches from your image.
