Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 4:03 pm

When you are running an online store, it is important to make sure that your products are well-tagged. This will help potential customers find your products more easily, and it will also help you to keep track of your inventory. However, there may be times when you want to hide tags from certain products. For example, if you are selling a product that is seasonal, you may want to remove the tags from the product page once the season is over. Or, if you have a clearance sale going on, you may want to remove the tags from all of the products that are part of the sale.

There are a few different ways that you can hide tags in WooCommerce products. One way is to use the WooCommerce built-in functionality. To do this, go to the Products tab in your WordPress dashboard and click on Tags.

Then, click on the Edit link next to the tag that you want to hide. In the Visibility section, select Hidden. Once you save your changes, the tag will be hidden from all products that have it applied.

Another way to hide tags is by using a plugin. There are a few different plugins that you can use, but we recommend WooCommerce Hide Product Tags. This plugin allows you to selectively hide tags on a per-product basis. To use this plugin, install and activate it and then go to the Products tab in your WordPress dashboard. Edit the product that you want to hide tags from and scroll down to the Hide Product Tags section. Then, select which tags you want to hide from that product and save your changes.

Conclusion:

There are a few different ways that you can hide tags in WooCommerce products. You can use the WooCommerce built-in functionality or a plugin like WooCommerce Hide Product Tags.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to hide tags in WooCommerce products, be aware that this may adversely affect your product visibility and search engine ranking.
