How Do I Import XD Files Into Figma Free?

If you’re using Adobe XD and you want to switch to Figma, there are a few things you need to know about how to import XD files into Figma Free. Here’s a quick guide on how to do it.

When you first open Figma, you’ll be asked to sign in. You can sign in with your Google, Facebook, or email account. Once you’ve signed in, click on the “Create New File” button in the upper left-hand corner.

A pop-up window will appear asking you to choose a template for your new file. You can scroll through the various templates or click on the “Blank” option to start with a blank canvas.

Once you’ve chosen a template or decided to start with a blank canvas, you’ll be taken to the Figma interface. In the upper left-hand corner, you’ll see a menu with different options like “File,” “Edit,” “View,” etc.

Click on the “File” option and then select “Import. ”

PRO TIP: If you are planning on importing XD files into Figma Free, be aware that this is not a supported feature and may cause problems with your file.

Another pop-up window will appear asking you which file type you want to import. Select “Adobe XD File” from the list of options.

Now, locate the Adobe XD file that you want to import into Figma. Once you’ve found it, click on the “Open” button.
