Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 7:09 am

One of the easiest ways to get started with Joomla is to install a template from the Joomla! Template Directory. Templates can be installed on your own server or on a public web server.

There are many different templates to choose from, and you can find one that is right for your website or business.

Once you have chosen a template, you will need to install it on your Joomla! website. To do this, you will need to log in to your Joomla! website, and then click on the “Templates” menu item. Next, you will need to select the “Install a Template” option from the menu.

When the template installation wizard opens, you will need to enter the name of the template that you have chosen, and then click on the “Install” button. After the template is installed, you will need to click on the “Activate” button to activate it.

When the template is activated, you will be able to configure it to your own preferences. You will need to enter the name of the template, and then click on the “Configure” button. Next, you will need to enter the information about the template. This will include the URL of the template, the name of the template, and the description of the template.

You will also need to enter the name of the administrator that is responsible for the template. After the information is entered, you will need to click on the “Save” button.

When the template is configured, you will be able to use it to create a new Joomla! website. To do this, you will need to click on the “Create a New Site” button, and then enter the information about the new site. This will include the name of the website, the URL of the website, and the description of the website.

PRO TIP: If you have never installed a Joomla template before, please note that it is a relatively easy process but there are a few things you need to remember. First, make sure you have the latest version of Joomla installed. Second, download and unzip the template file you purchased. Once you have done this, you will need to upload the template folder to your server via FTP. After the folder has been uploaded, head to your Joomla administration panel and go to Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Install. From here, click on the Browse button and select the template folder you just uploaded. Once you have selected the folder, click on the Install button and wait for Joomla to install the template. That’s it! You can now head to your site’s frontend and check out the new template.

You will also need to enter the name of the administrator that is responsible for the website. After the information is entered, you will need to click on the “Create” button.

When the new website is created, you will be able to test it by clicking on the “Test Site” button. After the test site is tested, you will be able to delete it by clicking on the “Delete” button.

When the website is deleted, the template will be deleted as well.

When you are ready to move the website to a new server, you will need to click on the “Move Site” button, and then enter the new URL for the website. After the new URL is entered, you will need to click on the “Move” button.

When the website is moved, the template will be moved as well.

When you are ready to delete the website, you will need to click on the “Delete Site” button, and then enter the URL for the website that you want to delete. After the URL is entered, you will need to click on the “Delete” button.

When you are ready to create a new website, you will need to click on the “Create a New Site” button, and then enter the information about the new website. After the information.
