How Do I Join the Figma Interactive Components Beta?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:37 pm

If you’re interested in becoming a part of the Figma Interactive Components beta, there are a few things you need to know. First off, what are interactive components?

They’re essentially small pieces of code that allow you to interact with your design in Figma. For example, you can use an interactive component to change the color of an element when you hover over it.

So how do you join the beta? First, make sure you have a Figma account (you can sign up for free at www.com). Once you have an account, head over to the Figma Community website (https://www.com/) and join the ‘Interactive Components Beta Testers’ group.

Once you’ve joined the group, go to the ‘Files’ tab and download the ‘Interactive Components Beta Tester Kit’. This kit contains everything you need to get started, including some basic components and a few example files showing how they work.

Now that you have the kit, it’s time to start testing! Try adding some of the components to your own designs and see how they work. If you run into any problems or have any questions, head over to the ‘Discussion’ tab on the Figma Community website and post in the ‘Interactive Components Beta Help’ thread – we’re always happy to help out!

When you’re ready, head over to the ‘Examples’ tab and upload your own file showing off what you’ve made. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
