How do I link GitHub to DigitalOcean?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 1:53 pm

If you are looking to link your GitHub account with your DigitalOcean account, you have a few options. You can use the GitHub integration service, or you can use the DigitalOcean API.

If you are using the GitHub integration service, you can find instructions on how to set it up here. Once you have set up the integration, all you need to do is add a line to your GitHub settings page that references your DigitalOcean account.

PRO TIP: If you are linking your GitHub account to DigitalOcean, please be aware that your code will be made public. If you do not want your code to be public, please do not link your GitHub account to DigitalOcean.

If you are using the DigitalOcean API, you will first need to create a credentials file. You can find instructions on how to do this here. After you have created the credentials file, you will need to add the credentials to your API instance. You can find the API instance details here.

After you have added the credentials, you will need to link your GitHub and DigitalOcean accounts. You can find the linking process here.
