In Photoshop, brushes are loaded into the Brushes palette by dragging and dropping them from the Brushes folder in the Photoshop application folder. The Brushes palette is located in the Window palette, and it can be opened by choosing Window > Brushes.

PRO TIP: If you are unsure about how to load brushes into Photoshop, it is best to consult with a professional or ask for help from someone who is familiar with the program. Loading brushes into Photoshop incorrectly can result in damage to the program or your computer.

To add a new brush to the Brushes palette, first locate the Brushes folder in the Photoshop application folder. Then, open the Brushes palette and drag and drop the brush you want to use into the Brushes palette.

To delete a brush from the Brushes palette, first locate the brush in the Brushes palette and select it. Then, click the trash can icon next to the brush name to delete the brush.
