If you’re a freelancer, chances are you’ve used or at least heard of UpWork. UpWork is a freelancing platform that allows businesses to post projects and freelancers to bid on those projects.

Once a freelancer is hired, they can log their hours worked on the project in UpWork. In this article, we’ll show you how to log your hours in UpWork.

First, you’ll need to be logged into your UpWork account. Once you’re logged in, find the project that you’re working on and click on it.

On the project page, you’ll see a tab labeled “Log Hours.” Click on that tab.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, it is easy to accidentally log too many hours in Upwork. This can result in you being overcharged for your work, and may even lead to your account being suspended.

On the “Log Hours” page, you’ll see a form that you’ll need to fill out. In the “Date” field, select the date that you worked on the project.

In the “Hours” field, enter the number of hours that you worked. If you worked for more than one hour, be sure to include the decimal point (for example, if you worked 1 hour and 30 minutes, you would enter 1.5 in the “Hours” field).

In the “Description” field, enter a brief description of the work that you did. Once you’ve filled out all of the fields, click on the “Log Hours” button.

And that’s it! You’ve now successfully logged your hours in UpWork.
