To make a water wave in Photoshop, first create a new layer. Then, using the Pen tool, create a path that follows the shape of the wave.

To do this, click on the point where the wave starts, then click and drag to create a curved line. Repeat this process until the entire wave is complete.

PRO TIP: This article offers a warning about how to make a water wave in Photoshop. It is not recommended to use the Photoshop software to make a water wave, as it can result in the loss of data and/or damage to the computer.

Next, select the layer and go to Edit > Stroke. In the Stroke dialogue box, choose a width for the stroke and set the position to “inside.” Then click “OK.”

Now the wave should be visible. To add realism, go to Filter > Distort > Wave.

In the Wave dialogue box, enter values for Number of Generators, Wavelength, Amplitude, and Size. Experiment with these values until you get a realistic looking wave. Finally, click “OK.”
