How Do I Make Galaxies in Photoshop?

Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 9:26 pm

There are a few different ways that you can create galaxies in Photoshop. One way is to use the “Clouds” filter. To do this, first create a new layer.

Then, go to the “Filter” menu and choose “Render.” From the drop-down menu, select “Clouds.” This will create a random cloud pattern on your layer.

You can also create a galaxy by using a black and white image and adding some color to it. To do this, first open an image in Photoshop.

Then, go to the “Image” menu and choose “Adjustments.” From the drop-down menu, select “Hue/Saturation.” In the Hue/Saturation dialog box, move the Saturation slider to the right to add color to the image.

If you want to create a more realistic galaxy, you can use a photograph of a real galaxy. To do this, first find a photograph of a galaxy online. Then, open the photograph in Photoshop.

Go to the “Layer” menu and choose “New Adjustment Layer.” From the drop-down menu, select “Curves.” In the Curves dialog box, increase the contrast of the image by dragging the middle point of the curve upwards.

No matter which method you use, adding stars to your galaxy will make it look more realistic.

Then, use the Brush tool to paint white dots on the layer. You can change the size and shape of your brush by clicking on the brush icon in the toolbar and selecting a different brush from the drop-down menu.

After you’ve added stars to your galaxy, you can add other effects like nebulae or comets. To do this, first find an image of a nebula or comet online.

Then, open the image in Photoshop and drag it onto your galaxy layer. Use the Free Transform tool to resize and position the nebula or comet in your galaxy. You can find the Free Transform tool by going to the Edit menu and selecting “Free Transform” from the drop-down menu.

Finally, save your galaxy image as a JPEG file by going to File > Save As… in Photoshop’s main menu.

PRO TIP: This article contains instructions on how to create galaxies in Photoshop. However, it is important to note that these instructions may not be suitable for all users. Some users may find that they are unable to create galaxies that look realistic, while others may find that the process is too time-consuming.

How Do I Make Galaxies in Photoshop?
There are many ways that galaxies can be made through Photoshop with many different filters and settings that can be adjusted to create different looks for each one made. The first way that was mentioned was using the Cloud filter. This is done by creating a new layer then going into filters and selecting render then choosing clouds from there which will give you random cloud patterns that you can adjust as you please on that new layer.

Another way is by using black and white images then adding color hues to them by going into Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation which will bring up a saturation slider for you to play around with until you get your desired look.

If you want something more realistic then they suggest finding photographs of actual galaxies online which you can then edit through curves by increasing contrast or adding other images like nebulae or comets onto your galaxy layer.

After all these steps have been completed don’t forget to save it as JPEG!
