How do I make InVision hotspots?

InVision is a powerful tool that can be used for creating and sharing designs with others. It can also be used to create hotspots, which are interactive areas in a design that can be clicked on to bring up additional information or to take the user to a different part of the design.

To create a hotspot in InVision, first select the area of the design that you want to create a hotspot for. Next, click on the “hotspot” icon in the toolbar. This will open the Hotspot Options dialog box.

In this dialog box, you will need to select the type of hotspot you want to create. There are three types of hotspot in InVision: text, image, and link.

Text hotspots can be used to bring up additional information about a particular element in the design. For example, you can create a text hotspot that displays the name of the element that is currently selected in the design.

PRO TIP: InVision hotspots are not currently supported on mobile devices. Use caution when making InVision hotspots on your website as they may not be viewable on all devices.

Image hotspots can be used to display images or videos in the design. Link hotspots can be used to take the user to a different part of the design or to another website.

Once you have selected the type of hotspot you want to create, you will need to provide some information about the hotspot. In the Hotspot Options dialog box, you will need to provide the name of the hotspot, the location in the design where the hotspot should appear, and the title of the hotspot.

Finally, you will need to provide some information about the content of the hotspot. In the Hotspot Options dialog box, you will need to provide the name of the element in the design that the hotspot will be associated with, the text that will be displayed in the hotspot, and the size of the text box.

Once you have completed these steps, your hotspot will be ready to use in the design.
