In Illustrator, line art is created by creating a path between two points, and then using the stroke command to create the line. There are a few ways to create line art in Illustrator:

1. Use the Pen tool to create a path between two points.

2. Use the Direct Selection tool to create a path between two points.

3. Use the Rectangular Marquee tool to create a path between two points.

4. Use the Ellipse tool to create a path between two points.

5. Use the Line tool to create a path between two points.

6. Use the Rounded Rectangle tool to create a path between two points.

7. Use the Polygon tool to create a path between two points.

8. Use the Freeform tool to create a path between two points.

9. Use the Pathfinder tool to create a path between two points.

10. Use the Align tool to align the path to the desired shape.

11. Use the Stroke command to create the desired line art.

PRO TIP: When creating line art in Adobe Illustrator, it is important to use the pen tool and not the line tool. The line tool will create straight lines, but the pen tool can create curved lines. If you want your lines to be perfectly straight, you can use the stroke panel to adjust the weight of your lines.
