Video layers are a great way to add interest and depth to your photos in Photoshop. To create a video layer, first, open your image in Photoshop. Then, go to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers.

A new dialog box will open. Select the video you want to use from the drop-down menu and click Open. The video will appear as a new layer in your Photoshop file.

PRO TIP: WARNING: Making video layers in Photoshop can be complex and time-consuming. If you are not familiar with the process, we recommend that you seek professional help.

You can then use the Move tool to position the video layer where you want it in the image. You can also change the opacity of the layer to make it more or less transparent. To do this, go to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options and adjust the Opacity slider.

If you want to add text to your video layer, you can do so by creating a new text layer and typing your message. Then, use the Move tool to position the text layer over the video layer. You can also change the color of the text layer by going to Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options and adjusting the Fill Opacity slider.

Once you’re happy with your video layer, go to File > Save As and choose a format for saving your file. Be sure to select a format that supports layers, such as PSD or TIFF. Now, when you open your file, you’ll see your video playing back!
