How Do I Make WooCommerce Login Pop Up?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 10:31 pm

The default WordPress login page is not very user-friendly. You have to click on the “Log In” link in the top right corner of the screen, which takes you to a separate login page.

Once you’re on the login page, you have to enter your username and password in the respective fields, and then click on the “Log In” button. This can be a bit confusing for first-time users, especially if they’re not familiar with WordPress.

Fortunately, there’s a way to make the login process more user-friendly: by using a plugin called WooCommerce Login Popup. This plugin allows you to create a popup login form that appears when you click on the “Log In” link. Once you enter your username and password in the popup form, you’re automatically logged in to your WordPress site.

There are two ways to install WooCommerce Login Popup: either via the WordPress admin panel or by uploading the plugin files to your server.

Installing via the WordPress Admin Panel:

1. Log in to your WordPress site as an administrator. 2. Go to Plugins > Add New. 3.

Search for WooCommerce Login Popup in the search field. 4. Find the plugin by Xigen (the author’s name) and click on the “Install Now” button. 5. After installing the plugin, activate it by going to Plugins > Installed Plugins and clicking on the “Activate” link under WooCommerce Login Popup.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to use the WooCommerce Login Pop Up plugin, please be aware that there is a potential security risk. This plugin has been known to cause login issues and has also been linked to a number of malware and phishing attacks. We recommend that you do not use this plugin and instead look for a more secure alternative.

Installing via FTP:

1. Download the plugin files from https://WordPress.org/plugins/woocommerce-login-popup/. Extract the ZIP file and upload the WooCommerce-login-popup folder to /wp-content/plugins/ on your server.

3. Log in to your WordPress site as an administrator and go to Plugins > Installed Plugins. Find WooCommerce Login Popup in the list of plugins and click on the “Activate” link under it.

Once WooCommerce Login Popup is activated, you can customize it by going to Settings > Login Popup in your WordPress admin panel
