How Do I Mass Delete Orders on Shopify?

Last updated on January 13, 2023 @ 2:33 am

It’s easy to delete orders from your Shopify admin. You can delete one order at a time, or you can delete multiple orders at once. If you need to delete an order that was placed by a customer, then you can refund the order instead.

When you delete an order, Shopify also deletes any associated products, customers, and transactions. If you need to keep this information, then you can cancel the order instead of deleting it.

How to delete an order from your Shopify admin

    1. From your Shopify admin, go to Orders.

    2. Click the .. button beside the order that you want to delete, and then click Delete.

    3. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete Order.

How to delete multiple orders from your Shopify admin

    1. Select the checkbox beside each order that you want to delete.

    2. To select all orders on the current page, click the checkbox above the list of orders. To select all orders in your shop, click Select all [number] orders.

    3. Above the list of orders, click Actions, and then click Delete selected orders.

    4. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete [number] orders. Deleting orders from your Shopify store is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps from your admin panel. Whether you need to delete one order or multiple orders, the process is quick and easy. Just be sure that you really want to delete the order before doing so as there is no undo button!

PRO TIP: If you are considering mass deleting orders on Shopify, be aware that this action cannot be undone. Once orders are deleted, they are permanently gone and cannot be recovered. This could have serious repercussions for your business, so be absolutely sure that you want to delete the orders before taking any further action.
