How Do I Merge Bracketed Images in Photoshop?

When you’re working with images in Photoshop, sometimes you’ll need to combine two or more images into a single file. This is called “merging.” You can merge images in several different ways, depending on your needs.

The most common way to merge images is to use the “Layer” menu. To do this, open the two images you want to merge in Photoshop.

Then, select the top layer of one image and the bottom layer of the other image. Choose “Layer” > “Merge Layers.” This will combine the two layers into a single layer.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to use the ‘How Do I Merge Bracketed Images in Photoshop?’ tutorial to combine multiple images, be aware that there are potential risks involved.

When combining images, Photoshop can sometimes distort the final image, causing it to look unnatural. In addition, if the source images are not properly aligned, the merged image may contain artifacts or other unwanted blemishes.

If you need to keep the two images separate but want them to be aligned, you can use the “Align” tool. To do this, select both layers and choose “Edit” > “Align.”

Then, choose how you want to align the layers (top, bottom, left, right, or center). This will make sure that the two images are aligned correctly when you merge them.

Finally, if you want to create a composite image from two or more images, you can use the “Mask” tool. To do this, select the layer of one image and add a mask.

Then, add another image on top of it and use a brush to paint over the areas you want to keep from the first image. When you’re done, choose “Layer” > “Merge Layers” to combine the two images into a single file.
