There are a few different ways to move a domain from one Squarespace site to another. You can either use the Domain Manager to transfer the domain, or you can use the Export/Import feature to move the domain.

To transfer a domain using the Domain Manager, first log in to your account and go to the Domain Manager page. Then, click on the “Transfer Domain” button and enter the domain name that you want to transfer. After that, you will need to enter the new Squarespace site’s URL and click on the “Transfer Domain” button again.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to move a domain from one Squarespace site to another, there are a few things you need to be aware of. First, you will need to transfer your domain to Squarespace. You can do this by going to your old site’s Domain Settings and selecting “Transfer Domain.” Once you have transferred your domain, you will need to set up DNS for your new Squarespace site. You can do this by going to your new site’s Domain Settings and selecting “DNS.” Finally, you will need to update your domain’s A record and CNAME record. You can do this by going to your old site’s Domain Settings and selecting “A Records” and “CNAME Records.”

To export/import a domain, first log in to your old Squarespace account and go to the Export/Import page. Then, click on the “Export” button and select “Domain” from the list of options.

After that, you will need to log in to your new Squarespace account and go to the Export/Import page again. Click on the “Import” button and select “Domain” from the list of options. Finally, enter the exported file’s URL and click on the “Import” button again.
