Domain registration is an important step in setting up your website. Once you have your domain name, you need to point it to your GoDaddy account. You can do this by following these steps:

Log into your GoDaddy account. Click on Domains. Find your domain name and click on it. On the next page, click on Properties.

On the General tab, under “Hosting and domain management”, make sure the “Use this domain name with GoDaddy” box is checked. Click on Save.

Now your domain should be pointing to your GoDaddy account. If you ever need to change your domain name or want to add a new domain, you can do so by following these steps:

PRO TIP: If you are pointing your domain to GoDaddy, be aware that your domain may not resolve correctly for up to 48 hours. This is because it can take up to that amount of time for DNS changes to propagate throughout the internet.

Log into your GoDaddy account. On the next page, click on Change Domain. On the Change Domain page, under “Manage your domain name”, make sure the “Use this domain name with GoDaddy” box is checked. Click on Change Domain.

On the next page, enter your new domain name and click on Change. On the next page, under “Change advanced settings”, make sure the “Use this domain name with GoDaddy” box is checked and click on Change. On the next page, under “Change DNS settings”, make sure the “Use this domain name with GoDaddy” box is checked and click on Change. On the next page, click on Save.

Your domain should now be pointing to your new domain name. If you ever need to change your GoDaddy account, you can do so by following these steps:

Log into your GoDaddy account. On the Change Domain page, under “Manage your domain name”, make sure the “Use this domain name with GoDaddy” box is not checked.

On the next page, enter your new GoDaddy account information and click on Change. On the next page, under “Change advanced settings”, make sure the “Use this domain name with GoDaddy” box is not checked and click on Change. On the next page, under “Change DNS settings”, make sure the “Use this domain name with GoDaddy” box is not checked and click on Change.
