If you want to move your GoDaddy domain to another GoDaddy hosting account, you’ll first need to deactivate your current account. To deactivate your account, visit the Account deactivation page and follow the steps to deactivate your account.

Once your account is deactivated, you can transfer your domain to your new hosting account. To transfer your domain, visit the Domain transfer page and follow the steps to transfer your domain.

PRO TIP: If you are pointing your GoDaddy domain to another GoDaddy hosting account, be sure to update your DNS settings. GoDaddy domains use the A record to point to the IP address of the hosting account. You will need to login to your GoDaddy account and update the A record with the new IP address. Failure to do this will result in your website not being accessible.

When you transfer your domain to your new hosting account, you’ll need to enter the new hosting account’s information into the Domain registration form. You’ll also need to update the DNS settings for your domain.

To update the DNS settings, visit the DNS settings page and enter the new hostname and IP address for your domain. Once you’ve updated the DNS settings, your domain will be registered and ready to use on your new hosting account.
