How do I receive payment from UpWork?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 8:47 pm

UpWork is a platform that connects workers with businesses. Workers can post their services, and businesses can find and hire workers who can help with a wide variety of tasks.

UpWork charges businesses a fee for each job that is completed, and workers receive a percentage of the fee paid to the business. UpWork also offers a variety of other services, such as a marketplace where businesses can buy and sell products and services, and a blog where workers can share tips and advice.

PRO TIP: If you are new to Upwork, be aware that you will not be able to receive payment until you have completed your first job and your client has approved the work. This can take up to 14 days. Once your first job is complete, you will be able to set up a payment method and receive payments on a weekly basis.

To receive payment from UpWork, first create an account and log in. Then, click the “My Payments” link in the main menu. This will display a list of all the jobs that have been completed on the platform, as well as the fees paid for each job. Click on the job that you want to receive payment for, and then click the “Receive Payment” link.

This will open a new window where you will be able to enter your bank account information. You will also be able to select a payment method, such as PayPal, which will be used to transfer the payment to your bank account.
