Illustrator is an amazing program for creating graphics, but sometimes you may want to recolor an image to make it more your own. There are a few different ways to recolor an image in Illustrator.

One way is to use the Color palette. To access the Color palette, select the image you want to recolor, and then click on the Color palette button (the three dots in the toolbar).

The Color palette will open and you can select the colors you want to use. .

PRO TIP: When recoloring an image in Illustrator, it is important to be aware of the color mode that the image is in. The color mode can be found in the “Image Mode” drop-down menu in the “Image” menu. If the image is in CMYK mode, it can only be edited in CMYK. If the image is in RGB mode, it can only be edited in RGB.

If you want to recolor an entire image, you can use the Paintbrush tool to paint over the colors you want to change. To use the Paintbrush tool, select the image you want to recolor, and then click on the Paintbrush tool button (the three dots in the toolbar).

The Paintbrush tool will open and you can start painting over the colors you want to change.

If you just want to change a specific color, you can select the color you want to change, and then click on the Color button (the three dots in the toolbar). The Color dialog box will open and you can select the new color you want to use.
