How Do I Remove a Price From Shopify?

Removing a price from Shopify is a fairly simple process, but there are a few things you need to keep in mind. First, you’ll need to remove the price from all of your product pages.

Second, you’ll need to remove any references to the price on your website, such as in the navigation or in the checkout process. Finally, you’ll need to update your billing settings so that you’re not charged for the product.

Here’s how to remove a price from Shopify:

1. Go to your Shopify admin and click on “Products.”

2. Find the product you want to remove the price for and click on “Edit.”

3. In the “Price” field, delete the current price and leave the field blank.

4. Save your changes.

5. Repeat steps 2-4 for all products where you want to remove the price.

6. Next, you’ll need to remove any references to prices on your website. If you have a theme with a built-in shopping cart, there may be some code that needs to be removed.

To do this, go to “Themes” and then “Edit HTML/CSS.” Find the code that displays prices and delete it. If you’re not sure which code to delete, reach out to a Shopify Expert for help.

PRO TIP: If you are considering removing a price from your Shopify store, be aware that this may have unintended consequences. For example, if you are selling a physical product, removing the price may cause customers to believe that the product is no longer for sale. This could lead to lost sales and customers.

7. Finally, update your billing settings so that you’re not charged for the product.

Go to “Settings” and then “Billing.” Under “Shopify Payments,” select “No” next to “Charge taxes on this product.” Save your changes and you’re all set!
