How Do I Reset My Shopify Card Reader?

If you’re having trouble with your Shopify card reader, there are a few things you can try to reset it. First, make sure that the reader is charged and plugged into a power source.

This includes any credit card information that you have stored on the device. Before resetting the device, be sure to backup any data that you want to keep.

Then, try restarting your Shopify POS app. If that doesn’t work, you can try resetting your Shopify card reader by following these steps:

  1. Unplug the card reader from its power source.
  2. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
  3. Plug the card reader back into its power source.
  4. Open the Shopify POS app and try using the card reader again.
